The VERY creepy IU foot stand!
Life Lesson: One's person trash is another person's treasure.

(God Bless her soul, but for some reason when I saw this flea market find I thought of Lora Lee! Does anyone else think this?! Am I crazy?)

Hank being domesticated...

I did not have sheets have on the bed as I was washing them, and Hank was determined to sleep on a mattress. Hank went in our guest bedroom and made his own little bed, and set the pillow up for himself.

A trip to the vet

Hank had no idea he recieved three shots becuase he was so worried about the scale. We finally tricked him to walk across it and Hank came in at 123.00 lbs, honestly not as much as we thought - but still a big guy.

Cuddling Houndy

Last night Hanky couldnt get enough of cuddling. He laid on me a good portion of the night then moved to lay on Joe.

Life Lesson: Dog is man's best friend. You could lock your significant other and your dog in a truck and when you open up the trunk - I am sure the dog will be happy to see you.

Lunchtime with Hank

Hank ate lunch with Joe and I today. Joe fed Hank a carrot. Hank enjoyed it, until Joe said, " Carrots are good for you Hank..." Hank proceeded to spit it out on the floor and decided anything is healthy isn't worth eating.

Derby Days

Joe and I had the pleasure to experience for the first time ever: Derby Days in Roanoke, IN. Our friends, Justin and Kristina invited us, and actually someone we knew someone in the powder puff derby, car #7. Derby Days are so entertaining and with such a distinguished group of people : hillbillies. We loved every second of it.

Life Lesson: Experience Life.

Suppose to be BEFORE the race...

Friday Eve Fishin'

Works been so hectic and stressful lately - and tonight was the perfect night to cruise around on the lake and enjoy being away from work. The sun was shining but the air was cold - and the wind was colder. I had two towels wrapped around me, and was wearing pants and a sweater. Joe caught two fish, one which induced a panic attack...

Life Lesson: You ain't country if you can't touch a fish.

Recap from weekend

Joe and I went to the lake Sunday with our friends Chad and Skeilat and their two boys. Of course there was tons of food, and lots of barking on Brunos part. Atually, Bruno was almost in big trouble because he bit Christians hand enough to make it sweal up , because Bruno was in his "chair" and a 4 year old didn't know any better. After a day at the lake - Joe and I came home to watch Marmaduke.... great movie....

If you ever need a break from reality - watch Marmaduke - it will make you laugh.

Tuesday morning after a long party weekend , this is what our house looked like:

Joe and I went to Plymouth today to celebrate his grandparents 60 year anniversary. We came home to find that Hank had a good ol' time without us.

I know we all learned a thing or two from Monsignor - he was a good man.

Take this day to say a special prayer for him and all those around him who are mourning.
